100 years later and the art student aesthetic hasn't changed. Bauhaus students Marcel Breuer, Marta Erps-Breuer, Katt Both and Ruth Hollos-Consemüller in 1927 are featured in a photograph on the front of the garment, washed with blue as reminiscent of the primary palette of the Bauhaus movement.
The back of the garment features the full text of The Bauhaus Manifesto, an impassioned declaration written by Walter Gropius as the school’s founding philosophy.
