Outsider Supply’s Newest Collab With DADA Goldberg Is Designed For The Inner Artist In All Of Us
We are living through the inception of the 21st Century Renaissance. Technological advancements beyond our grandparents' dreams, access to information like never before, and historically unrivaled personal agency. Never has there been a better time for creatives and audiences alike. Centuries worth of artistic creations behind us with endlessly innovative tools and mediums before us. The manifestos have been written, the works are memorialized, and all the world's a stage. It's art history in motion with the individual as an essential part of the masterpiece as we create our own artistic expressions today.
Outsider Supply takes this to heart. We aim to reflect on the expanse of art history and carry it forward as conceptual, artistic expression in wearable form. To look back to the artists and movements that have come before and reframe historical ideas for the contemporary mindset. The muse moulds mankind universally and we are compelled to spread it far and wide by collaborating with those that share our vision. Only through unity can we manifest the 21st Century Renaissance.
In that spirit we've partnered with DADA Goldberg to further our cause. Aesthetics are nothing if not curated through proper channels, and we're elated to be working with DADA Goldberg in this endeavour. Every notable Dadaist piece that we've fabricated has been made part of a new collection available now. Through this collab, we've also connected with the Committee to Protect Journalists and are donating 10% of all sales made from The Outsider Supply x DADA Goldberg Collection to their cause. The 21st Century Renaissance cannot move forward without a free press. Nor can it without the celebration of artistic expression. That's why we're doing both.
For the uninitiated, Dadaism was a philoso-artistic movement that emerged in the early 20th century as a reaction against the horrors of World War I. The bourgeois values of the time were rejected along with any sense of reason, rationality, and order - instead favouring chaos, disarray, and anti-establishment ideals. An astounding acceptance of the absurd in rejection of violence, subjugation, and war. A sub-conscious reimagining of the world as it was into one it could be. The idea that art should not simply remain an interpretation of reality but instead become a piece of reality itself.
This is our homage to the avant-garde - a celebration to those that gaze unto the muse and do not blink.
