Sustainability

Our Growing Sustainability Program

Each Piece Is Made To Order

We make each item special to order in the USA, ensuring that we only make the inventory that we need.

We view correct production as the great challenge of the fashion industry, and we pride ourselves in leading helping the effort to approach production consciously.

We find that our customers appreciate our way of working, and are excited to align with customers who appreciate transparency and slower fashion in the name of sustainability.

Certified Ethical Production

We source our fabrics from ethical producers around the world who are dedicated to creating high quality materials in a safe, healthy, and equitable environment for employees. All of our partners uphold humanitarian values of fair wages, protecting children from child labor, honoring overtime pay, and respecting healthy, safety, and environmental standard regulations, which are verified by international certification processes and occasional factory visits.

Organic And Recycled As Much As Possible

It is our priority to use organic and recycled materials, and it is our goal that all of our products be made of organic and recycled materials as we continue to grow.

Biodegradable Packaging

In 2023, we introduced recycled, marine-degradable exterior packaging, and in 2024, we are bringing in plant-based, biodegradable interior packaging. We understand that packaging can contain toxins, and that it wind up in the wrong places, like roadsides and waterways.

We are making every effort to ensure our packaging can benefit your compost pile, if that's what you choose to do with it, and that if it does wind up in the wrong place, it will gently biodegrade. Plastics in our oceans are a known culprit of raising water temperatures, and naturally, however plastic makes it into our water systems, ingesting microplastics is detrimental to animal and human health.

Even traditional cardboard has its toxic impacts, hence why you are not supposed to burn it, so in all, we are doing our best to make this aspect of modern business holistic for you, your loved ones, and our beloved planet.

1% For The Planet

To have the best impact, it takes a community of dedicate people to advance common sense care for our world. 1% For The Planet is an established organization that works with a myriad of charities to support the protection and renewal of our beautiful Earth.

Our Big Goals

Our sustainability goals include:

– Achieve carbon neutrality by supporting forestation of native evergreen species in the U.S. and around the world.
– Develop a transparent network of biodynamic, regenerative farmers to source our base fibers.
– Become at least in part vertically integrated, having our own biodynamic, regenerative farms; state-of-the-art, sustainably textile mills, and in-house native evergreen and microbiome support programs.

Certainly, there will more big dreams to come!
Thank you for supporting our slow fashion approach to sustainable production.
It will reap dividends. That's a promise.
