THE CONCEPT

Artists are often the unsung heroes of society, always being among the first to explore and create new ideas, modes of expression, applications for technology, and embellishments to daily life, whether that be through their music, architecture, or any other means by which their art takes shape.

This piece both acknowledges that art takes work while gently pressing on the seemingly contradictory forces, a kind of inner struggle or inherent tension, of work and art that we all must dance with in our practices.

Our sculptural dad hat brings a laid-back West Coast sensibility with an artful, effortless feel. Crafted from ultra-soft, fine 100% cotton twill, it features Working Artist embroidery at the center front and an Outsider Supply OS woven label at the back.
