Pop Art Dad Hat

THE CONCEPT

Pop Art began as a revolt against the dominant approaches to art, culture, and traditional views on what art should be. Young artists felt that what they were taught at art school and what they saw in museums did not have anything to do with their lives or the things they saw around them every day. Instead of drawing from classical ideas, they turned to popular sources, like Hollywood movies, advertising, product packaging, pop music, and comic books for their imagery.

Our sculptural dad hat brings a laid-back West Coast sensibility with an artful, effortless feel. Crafted from ultra-soft, fine 100% cotton twill, it features Pop Art embroidery at the center front and an Outsider Supply OS woven label at the back.
