THE CONCEPT

The Yves Klein Tee is an ode to Nouveau réalisme artist, Yves Klein and his signature ultramarine pigment. 

At the heart of Klein's work lies his signature shade of blue, famously known as International Klein Blue.  This vivid, ultramarine hue captivates the viewer, inviting them into a realm where the tangible and the immaterial intertwine. Klein saw this blue as a representation of the infinite and the boundless, a direct link to the mystical and spiritual.

In his monochromatic works, Klein embraced a minimalist approach, stripping away all distractions to focus solely on the profound essence of color. His canvases, often large in scale, served as portals to the sublime, urging the viewer to delve deeper into their own consciousness.

Klein's artistic pursuits extended beyond the canvas. He experimented with performance art, incorporating live actions and engaging the audience in unique experiences. In his renowned "Anthropometry" series, he used the human body as a brush, choreographing nude models to create imprints on canvas, blurring the line between artist and artwork.
